Introduction

In 2023, ENSM organised nearly 350 training sessions for 2800 trainees. The training sessions meet the requirements of national and international regulations, but they can also be tailor-made to meet the specific needs of companies.

Trainings are delivered across the four campuses or in-company.

ENSM, at the heart of maritime education, focus on STCW training for professionals undergoing refreshers or wishing to acquire new skills. These essential and internationally recognised trainings aim to enhance skills and safety at sea, complying with international maritime standards. They are the foundation of our educational offering, demonstrating our commitment to the continuous development of maritime skills.

ENSM offers Cybersecurity courses, targeting maritime and port issues. It is pursuing its partnership with Francecyber Maritime.

In partnership with IPER (Port Education and Research Institute), ENSM is proposing a “Merchant Ship call” course.

The Academy is also working on the international training standards for staff working on wind farms, known as GWO (Global Wind Organisation).

STCW training courses open the door to the maritime world, and at the heart of this expertise is ENSM’s Survival and Sea Rescue Training Center, CESAME. We welcome trainees for STCW PSC-RB, PSC-FRB, PST, Fire Prevention and Fire Figting, and Advanced Fire Fighting trainings, covering both initial issuances and refreshers.
