AUDIENCE CONCERNED

Intended for any seaman exercising the functions of electrotechnical officer as well as any personnel in charge of the maintenance and maintenance of the electrical systems on board commercial or recreational vessels armed with a propulsion power greater than 750 kW.

PREREQUISITES

Hold basic training in High Voltage on board ships

OBJECTIVES

Acquire advanced skills in High Voltage electrical systems for all installations where the voltage produced and distributed, distributed is greater than 1000 Volts alternating or 1500 volts continuous and less than 15000 Volts.

– Causes and Risks of Operating Electrical Circuits

Organization of electrical work precautions and safety procedures:
