Maritime Engineering – Profession

Description

ENSM trains engineers in two specialties (navigating and maritime engineering) across three sites (Marseille, Le Havre, and Nantes) for the issuance of the ENSM engineering diploma, accredited by the Engineering Titles Commission (CTT) and with a master’s degree level.

The maritime engineering specialty trains for professions such as:

  • Superintendent,
  • Energy transition engineer for a shipping company or shipyard,
  • Lead engineer within a certification society,
  • Project engineer or maritime coordinator within a certification society,
  • Project engineer or maritime coordinator within an offshore wind farm,
  • Engineer responsible for the operation and maintenance of offshore installations,
  • Consulting engineer.

The "Maritime Engineering" Specialty

The “maritime engineering” specialty is divided into two tracks:

  • EGN Ship Eco-Management
  • DMO Deployment and Maintenance of Offshore Systems
