Officer holding a Chief Watchkeeping Officer certificate that does not meet the requirements for sea service (or equivalent) to retain the prerogatives associated with the certificate.
PREREQUISITES
Hold a Watch Machine Supervisor certificate
OBJECTIVES
Prove the maintenance of professional competence and obtain the revalidation of the title
DURATION
32 hours over 4.5 days (Internship + tests)

PROGRAM
In accordance with Appendix 6 of the Annex to the Order of 24 July 2013,
Certification Revalidation of Officer in Charge of Engine Watch in a Guarded Engine Room or Engineer on Duty in an Engine Room Operated Without Permanent Personnel:
Skills refresher and refresher courses:
– Machine – 4 hours.
– English – 4 hours including test (1/2 hour)
– Machine simulator: 12 hours.
– Electronic / Electrical / Automatic – 4 hours.
– Safety / Stability – 4 hours including test (1/2 hour)
– Machine Test/FBA/Machine Simulator – 4 hours
