ADVANCED TRAINING IN LIQUEFIED GAS TANKER CARGO OPERATIONS

AUDIENCE CONCERNED

Masters, officers and seamen on board tankers and liquefied gas tankers.

PREREQUISITES

Hold a seafarer’s medical certificate stating the seaworthiness of less than 12 months.

OBJECTIVES

– Be able to safely perform and monitor all cargo related operations
– Be familiar with the physical and chemical properties of liquefied gas shipments
– Take precautions to prevent risks
– Take Occupational Health and Safety Precautions
– Dealing with an emergency
– Take precautions to prevent environmental pollution
– Monitor and monitor regulatory compliance
