REFRESHER TRAINING – ADVANCED FIREFIGHTING QUALIFICATION CERTIFICATE

PUBLIC CONCERNED

Holders of a Certificat de Qualification Avancée à la Lutte contre l’Incendie (CQALI) (advanced firefighting qualification certificate) due to expire every five years.

PREREQUISITES

– Hold an initial CQALI
– Hold an on-board training certificate less than five years old, certified by the shipowner (entitles the holder to a reduced number of training hours)
– hold a certificate from the seafarers’ doctor stating that they are fit to sail, dated less than 12 months.

OBJECTIVES

To prove continued competence in accordance with the Order of 24 July 2013 on the revalidation of maritime vocational training qualifications and the STCW Manila Amendment Convention of 24 June 2010.

The course certificates are dematerialised and can be accessed directly on your seafarer’s portal as soon as the training course has been successfully completed.
These certificates are valid for 12 months, during which time you can use the appropriate CERFA form to renew your certificates with Maritime Affairs.
