IGF Advanced Supplemental Training

AUDIENCE CONCERNED

Masters, engineer officers and all personnel directly responsible for the precautions to be taken with respect to fuels and fuel systems on board vessels subject to the IGF Code and the use of those fuels and fuel systems fuel and already holders of advanced gas qualification certificate.

PREREQUISITES

– Basic training certificate for cargo operations of liquefied gas tankers or basic certificate for vessels subject to the IGF code.

– Certificate of advanced training in cargo operations for liquefied gas tankers.

– Hold a seafarer’s medical certificate stating seaworthiness less than 12 months old

OBJECTIVES

– Operate marine propulsion and auxiliary engines of the vessel subject to the IGF Code
– Ship design, circuits and equipment
– Know how to use the IGF compendium and its appendices
