O5 Marine is a maritime services and manning company with extensive experience in vessel management, technical management and crew supply.
With a strong presence in the French offshore wind energy market, we support French and international shipowners in the management of their vessels and crews.
As part of our operations aboard the SOV Grampian Goelo, a vessel registered with the RIF, we are seeking two DP2-certified Unlimited Deck Lieutenants:
1 permanent position
1 fixed-term position
Your role:
Reporting to the Master and the Second Officer, your main responsibilities will include:
Standing watch on the bridge;
Assisting with the vessel’s manoeuvres;
Operating the Dynamic Positioning (DP) system;
Participating in and leading safety and security drills;
Ensuring the proper implementation of safety procedures on board.
Terms of the employment contract
Position 1 – Permanent contract
Vessel: SOV Grampian Goelo (RIF)
Operating area: Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm
Contract type: Permanent maritime contract (CDI)
Start date: 06/08/2026
Arrangements for first embarkation: 1 week’s handover followed by 4 weeks on board
Subsequent rotation: 4 weeks ON / 4 weeks OFF
Embarkation / Disembarkation: Saint-Malo
Employment terms: French contract under ENIM
Remuneration: Depending on experience
Position 2 – Fixed-term contract
Vessel: SOV Grampian Goelo (RIF)
Operating area: Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm
Contract type: Fixed-term maritime employment contract (CDD)
Embarcation period: from 1 October 2026 to 5 November 2026
Embarkation / Disembarkation: Saint-Malo
Employment terms: French contract under ENIM
Remuneration: Depending on experience
Your profile
Valid Unlimited Deck Officer’s Certificate;
Valid DP Unlimited / DP2 certification;
Good command of professional maritime English;
Ability to work as part of a team;
Strong awareness of safety issues and offshore operations.
