June Recap: Check out the highlights from ENSM

📍1 From June 5 to 7, Léopold, Achille, Théo, Mona, Charles, and Max-Antoine, officer cadets at ENSM, celebrated the sea in Dunkirk!

📍2 On June 10, Teuthis, a street artist specializing in marine biology, created a collage of a mackerel measuring 8.20 meters long, under the watchful eyes of staff, students, and professors in attendance.

📍3 Fourth-year maritime engineering students presented their end-of-year projects on June 9. Prepared throughout the year, the projects were supervised by Nicolas Magdelaine, a professor of automation. Congratulations!

📍4 You’ve seen the poster for the next edition of the Summer School! Join us September 22–25, 2026, in Marseille for a 4-day program of lectures, workshops, and field trips!

📍5 The sailboat Bel Espoir set sail on June 16! ENSM is proud to support the Haler au Boute project on its transatlantic crossing. Stay updated via the logbook to follow their journey.

📍6 On June 18 and 19, the ENSM Marseille campus hosted a special JRA event. Nineteen companies participated, with some conducting more than 100 internship interviews for second- and third-year general officer cadets.

📍7 It’s now the turn of the Vasco da Gama class of International Bridge Watch Officer Cadets to embark. The ENSM wishes you fair winds and smooth seas—see you next year!

📍8 On Wednesday, June 24, an ENSM delegation had the honor of participating in the reception for sailors at Paris City Hall. The French Navy’s presence—marking its 400th anniversary—alongside the Minister of the Sea and Fisheries, Catherine Chabaud, took on special significance during a ceremony opened by the Mayor of Paris, Emmanuel Grégoire.

📍9 The traditional small-boat race took place in the basin at the ENSM campus in Marseille!

📍10 At the ENSM campus in Saint-Malo, the traditional graduation ceremony once again celebrated the departure of the officer cadets! The third-year Mechanical Officer cadets enjoyed this graduation in a festive atmosphere. Fair winds and smooth seas!
