An extraordinary tour for ENSM students and faculty aboard the Corinthian Orient Express!
A delegation from the ENSM’s Marseille campus had the opportunity to tour the Corinthian Orient Express, the world’s largest sailing ship, currently docked in Marseille for final preparations before it enters service.
Built by Chantiers de l’Atlantique, this 220-meter-long giant—featuring three masts over 100 meters tall, 4,500 square meters of sail area, and powered by LNG—impresses as much with its performance as with its technological innovations.
“We had the privilege of exploring the entire ship, from the engine room to the sumptuous accommodations, including the bridge—a true hub of technology.
A huge thank you to David Edouard Bensussan for his hospitality and for this exceptional tour, which was particularly inspiring for our students…”
– Caroline Pons, instructor in maritime fundamentals and nautical sciences
The ENSM thanks Orient Express for this visit!
