ENSM has two library centers at its Le Havre and Marseille campuses. Access to the libraries at Centrale Nantes and the IUT de Saint-Malo allows all ENSM students to benefit from a wide range of resources throughout their studies and to access materials that are useful for completing their degrees.

2025 Year in Review
The ENSM’s library and information centers play an essential role in education by providing students and faculty with access to print and digital resources. They support learning and teaching, promote independence, develop students’ information literacy skills, and offer spaces for work and leisure. In light of evolving technologies, they also educate users on the use of digital media as well as on issues related to information and communication.
Highlights of 2025
In 2025, ENSM’s library and information centers reaffirmed their central role in providing educational, informational, and cultural support to students and faculty.
The library and information centers continued to modernize their services while enhancing the visibility of their collections and heritage to raise ENSM’s profile nationwide. The collections were expanded through the acquisition of 260 new items and the addition of 330 donations.
The use of digital resources continued to grow, generating more than 500,000 online visits. The heritage collection, consisting of 1,568 rare books, was fully cataloged and featured outreach activities that attracted 347 visitors.
The metrics also show an increase in visits to the library spaces, in document searches, and in interlibrary loan transactions.

Outlook for 2026
- The priorities for 2026 will revolve around four strategic areas:
- The rollout of the new Syracuse document portal;
- The integration and promotion of student theses;
- The development of AI-based research support tools;
- The continued digitization, preservation, and promotion of maritime heritage.
These initiatives aim to enhance the accessibility of resources, improve the user experience, and strengthen ENSM’s cultural and scientific influence.
