We are looking for a Project Manager in the Maritime/Naval sector for one of our clients.
At our client’s company, you will be directly integrated into the ship maintenance and optimization department.

At Innova Solutions, you will report directly to Laurent, an engineer with over 10 years of experience within the company. His dual expertise in both technical and managerial fields enables him to provide you with effective support. As monitoring consultants is a priority for Laurent, regular meetings will be organized between you, the manager at our client’s company, and him to ensure that your assignment runs smoothly.

Main duties of the position:
– Comply with IMS rules, IMO 23, and all relevant international standards and regulations;
– Ensure that all your tasks comply with the client’s policies on quality, health, safety, the environment, and ethics;
– Identify ships and series of ships that need to be refitted;
– Ensure that retrofits are duly modified on all relevant certificates;
– Liaise with classification societies and flags for all certificate modifications;
– Liaise with officers on board to implement all modifications;
– Coordinate subcontractors and liaise with internal teams (Lines, Crews, R&D, Fleets, etc.) to carry out the project on a daily basis;
– Monitor and define project budgets accurately;
– Identify engineering issues and ensure that solutions are implemented;
– Monitor engineering studies and approval processes;
– In cooperation with the Doc Control department, ensure that drawings are correctly processed and archived;
– In cooperation with Class, monitor the approval process and readiness for EEXI and CII calculations;
– Control project costs by monitoring expenses;
– Prepare project progress reports by gathering and analyzing information and trends, and making recommendations.

Required profile:
Graduate of an engineering school or Master’s degree.
You have initial experience in implementing best practices on safety-related issues, preferably in one of the following sectors: Maritime, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Industrial.
This will enable you to work independently and be flexible in your role.
You are proficient in Excel (VBA, macros, complex functions, etc.) and Office 365.
Rigour, method, and adaptability will be key to succeeding in this role.
Exposed to an international environment, fluency in written and spoken English is essential.

4. Preparation for the client interview:
• Preparatory video interview with Laurent, manager at Innova Solutions.
5. Interview with the client:
• If feedback is positive: possibility of a second interview or start of contract discussions.
• If feedback is negative: end of the process; you will be informed by the recruiter.
