AUDIENCE CONCERNED
Officer holding a Chief Engineer or Second Engineer certificate ( 3,000 kW) who does not meet the requirements for sea service (or equivalent) to retain the patent prerogatives.
PREREQUISITES
Hold a Chief or Second Engineer certificate.
OBJECTIVES
Demonstrate the maintenance of professional competence and thus obtain the revalidation of the title.

PROGRAM
In accordance with Appendix 7 to the Annex to the Order of 24 July 2013,
Chief Engineer and Second Engineer Certification Revalidation Test and Training Program for Ships with Main Propulsion Units of 3000 kW or more:
Tests:
– English – ½ hour
– Machine / Machine / Electronic / Electrical / Automatic Simulator – 4 hours.
– Security / Stability – ½ hour
