The SEMNA II project
The SEMNA II (Expert and Multiplatform Autonomous Navigation System) research project, supported by ENSM, aims to develop breakthrough capabilities specific to civil maritime applications, enabling fully autonomous navigation of marine drones, including in multi-drone environments.
In response to the increasing use of autonomous systems, SEMNA intends to develop a complete ecosystem for implementing autonomous solutions, whether for remote supervision or simultaneous operation of multi-drone systems.
This system consists of :
- A new-generation navigation and control gateway enabling supervised collaborative operation of autonomous and non-autonomous platforms.
- New-generation autonomous maritime platforms (surface, underwater and aerial) compatible with the navigation and control system.
