As an Oiler on board our ships, you will contribute to the smooth running of the machinery by monitoring and performing routine maintenance, as well as assisting the engine room team.

Your duties will include:

Monitoring and performing routine maintenance on main and auxiliary machinery and technical installations.

Lubricating, oiling, cleaning and inspecting equipment.

Conducting machinery rounds, recording parameters and reporting any anomalies to the engineer on duty.

Participating in preventive and corrective maintenance work under the responsibility of the engineer officers.

Keeping track sheets up to date and filling in the required technical documents.

Strictly applying and complying with safety, security and environmental instructions on board.

Contributing to safety drills and manoeuvres.

The position is based in Guadeloupe (971).
