Reporting to the Captain, you will be the head of the Engine Department and responsible for ensuring the immediate availability, preventive maintenance and repair of the engine and other ship equipment. You will be responsible for the CMMS on board and the winch in operation.

Your main tasks:

You will be responsible for the maintenance and general upkeep of the ship’s machinery and other equipment.
You will work in collaboration with the shipowner’s superintendents.
You will participate in the development, monitoring and maintenance of a stock of necessary, sensitive and critical parts on board.
You are responsible for the use of deck equipment (cranes, harrows, etc.).

Your qualities:

Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Efficiency.
Rigour.

Your qualifications and certificates:

Minimum 3000kw Chief Engineer’s Certificate.
STCW certificates (CFBS, CAEERS, CQALI).

Conditions of employment:

As soon as possible
4 weeks on board / 4 weeks off
Chief Engineer, 15th category
Salary according to pay scale
