OFFICER on Oil Tanker/Chemical Tanker
As a French oil tanker operator on a human scale, our fleet is constantly evolving, with an average of 10 oil tankers/chemical tankers (from 8,000 tonnes to 50,000 tonnes).
Always on the lookout for innovations and mindful of our ecological footprint, we were pioneers in equipping one of our ships with ROTOR (Norsepower) masts and will be integrating new hybrid and dual fuel methanol-powered ships over the next two years.

Job responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Captain and First Officer, you will have the following responsibilities:
• Ensuring navigation (preparing routes according to the Captain’s instructions and in accordance with current regulations (STCW, COLREG, SOLAS, etc.))
• Ensuring the maintenance and regular inspection of navigation, radio communication and safety equipment
• Ensuring the safety of the vessel, cargo and crew members
• Keeping nautical and administrative documents up to date
• Participating in the training of new crew members by ensuring their familiarisation.
Required profile:
• Bridge Watchkeeping Officer certificate OR Sea-going Watchkeeping Officer certificate.
• Basic training qualification for oil tankers and chemical tankers
Bonus points:
• Experience on oil tankers and/or chemical tankers is an asset
• Advanced training qualifications for oil tankers and/or chemical tankers.
• Basic IGF qualification
• Fluency in English
