Engine Officers
JOB DESCRIPTION
As part of the construction of a new naval vessel, NavOcean Services is recruiting engineering officers.
Reporting to the Commanding Officer, you will take part in the testing and commissioning of the technical installations on board. You will work alongside the shipyard teams and the future crew.
Dockside:
– Taking part in technical trials,
– Commissioning the installations,
– Monitoring systems in operation,
– Organising safety drills,
– Supervising the work of watch crews.
At sea:
– Keeping the engine or bridge watch.
Accommodation may be provided.
REQUIRED PROFILE
– Minimum qualification as Engine Shift Supervisor (unlimited) or Seagoing Ship Shift Supervisor (unlimited),
– Good adaptability and autonomy,
– Experience in an intercultural environment,
– Good level of English (maritime and general),
– Living in or near Lorient would be a plus.
PREREQUISITES
– Up-to-date maritime medical examination,
– Valid STCW certificates.
