JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a deck officer for our RIF-registered vessel.
In addition to their duties in commanding the vessel, the Chief Officer will be responsible for training the cadets on board.

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Hold at least a Chief Officer’s Certificate or Sea Officer’s Certificate,
• Strong ability to adapt to the activities of a training vessel.
• Excellent teaching skills and a genuine desire to share knowledge.
• Previous experience working in a multicultural environment.
• Good command of maritime and general English.
• Significant experience in coastal navigation and international cabotage.
• Reside in Brittany or neighbouring departments,
• Experience of serving on military vessels would be an advantage.

PREREQUISITES
Hold a valid medical certificate and all valid STCW certificates.
