Reporting to the Captain, you are the head of the Engine Department and are responsible for the immediate availability, preventive and corrective maintenance of the engine and other ship equipment.

Your main tasks:

Operate the main engines, auxiliary engines and all ship equipment.
Perform general maintenance to keep the ships in operational condition while complying with regulatory requirements.
Keep the CMMS up to date.
Work in collaboration with the superintendent.
Actively participate in the development of our shipping company.

Qualifications:
Chief Engineer 3000kW / 8000kW / Unlimited, with all STCW certificates and licences up to date.
Good knowledge of mechanics, electronics and hydraulics.
Fluency in English.
