Chief Engineer
We are recruiting a certified 3000 kW Chief Engineer (M/F) to strengthen our teams on our fresh fish vessels.
Reporting to the captain, you will be the head of the Engineering Department and, as such, will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of the engine, auxiliary equipment and other ship’s equipment.
You will also be responsible for keeping the engine logbook and regulatory documents.
Excellent multidisciplinary technical knowledge is required for the position:
• Proficiency in operating engines and auxiliary equipment
• Skills in diesel mechanics, general mechanics, hydraulics, refrigeration, electricity and electronics
• Responsible for inventories and engine orders
• Monitoring technical shutdowns
Rigour, adaptability, interpersonal skills, organisational skills and commitment are required for this position.
Professional qualifications:
Up-to-date STCW certificates
Medical fitness for seafarers
English (read, written, spoken) is an advantage
Enim: 15th category.
