We are looking for an experienced Captain to take overall responsibility for the navigation, safety and operation of a vessel.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of maritime operations, compliance with regulations and coordination of the crew.

1. Navigation and maritime safety

– Ensure the navigation and safety of the vessel, passengers and crew.

– Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and safety procedures.

– Conduct safety drills and train the crew in emergency situations.

2. External and regulatory relations

– Liaise between the ship and port and maritime authorities.

– Supervise mandatory visits by Maritime Affairs and classification societies.

3. Administrative monitoring and documentation

– Supervise the updating of logbooks and equipment inventories.

– Manage ship-to-shore communications and ensure the smooth running of operations.

The position is based in Guadeloupe (971).

The salary offered is based on the ENIM scale (Category 12): €2,998.91 over 13 months.
