Guillaume de Beauregard, new Site director, French Maritime Academy in Le Havre

Project manager for the “Interregional Maritime Security Institute (ISMI)” since 2018 in Côte d’Ivoire and regional coordinator of State Action at Sea for the Gulf of Guinea within the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Guillaume de Beauregard was appointed Director of the ENSM campus, in Le Havre, on August 14, 2022.

He replaces Philippe Livet.

As a former student of the School of Maritime Affairs Administration and the Special Military School of Saint-Cyr, he held various positions at the Ministry of the Armed Forces, including for several missions abroad, and then at the Ministry of the Sea where he worked as Head of the Maritime Pole of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon.

Former deputy Director of the Regional Operational Center for Surveillance and rescue (CROSS) of Corsen within the Interregional Directorate of the North Atlantic Sea West Channel, he then joined the National School of Safety and Administration of the Sea (ENSAM) in Nantes as Head of department of international affairs, research and innovation, department also in charge of CROSS training and time at sea, before moving to Côte d’Ivoire for the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs.

He also accompanied and directed, for three years, young maritime affairs administrators as part of the “Joan of Arc” missions.

In Le Havre, with 6 600 m2 of teaching facilities, the ENSM welcomes more than 300 students.

Guillaume de Beauregard will supervise a pedagogic team composed of about fifteen agents, about thirty professors and about twenty contractual teachers.

Le Havre being the ENSM Head office, he will also supervise about forty people from the support services and the general management.

 

Au Havre, où 6600 m² sont dédiés à l’enseignement, l’ENSM accueille plus de 300 élèves, Guillaume de Beauregard encadrera une équipe pédagogique composée d’une quinzaine d’agents, d’une trentaine d’enseignants et d’une vingtaine de vacataires.

 

Le Havre étant le siège social de l’ENSM, il sera également l’hôte d’une quarantaine de personnes des services support et de la direction générale.
