The first day of HydroContest by ENSM was marked by the kickoff of the HydroContest Design competition, as well as by roundtable discussions and conferences on the topic “Focus on the Strategic Fleet.”

Two roundtable discussions enlivened the afternoon, with opening remarks by Aymeric Avisse, President of the magazine *Jeune Marine*, followed by an introduction by François Lambert, Director General of ENSM.

This provided François Lambert with an opportunity to elaborate on three overarching ideas: “innovate, influence, and unite.” “In fact, HydroContest by ENSM, like the issue of the strategic fleet, aligns quite well with this framework.”

The program featured two roundtable discussions titled:
📍“The Capabilities of the French Strategic Fleet”
📍“The Risks of War and Shipbuilding Capacity”
