Let us celebrate 15 years of ENSM and 10 years of the Le Havre site!
On Monday 29 September, more than 200 people (teachers, students and staff, as well as graduates, shipowners, partners and institutional representatives) celebrated the 15th anniversary of ENSM and the 10th anniversary of the Le Havre site.
After introductory speeches by Véronika Rous, Frédéric Moncany de Saint-Aignan and Agnès Pannier-Runacher, various testimonials from students and alumni on the theme of the School were shown on video.
The evening continued with a debate on Hydro between François Champion, a teacher in Le Havre, Catherine Cornu, a maritime pilot, and Yaëlle Fellous, an OCQPI student. To conclude the debate, François Lambert, the debate moderator, presented the initial results of ‘Hydro2040’ and ‘PASSION’, which will be revealed shortly. The Director General also presented a book recounting the history of the unification of the Hydro schools since 2010, created especially for the occasion.
Malika Cherrière and Édouard Philippe closed the ceremony by affirming that the ENSM is ‘a challenge of intelligence launched to train sailors in such a unique apprenticeship that they will bring, preserve and defend the interests of France’.
The evening ended on a high note with a buffet and fireworks!
