ENSM’s presence at the UNOC

The 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference

2025 is the Year of the Sea and also the year of the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC). This conference will be held in Nice from 9 to 13 June. It will be co-organised by the governments of France and Costa Rica, bringing together all the Member States of the United Nations, their Heads of State and Government, civil society, the private sector and others. This year’s theme is ‘Accelerating action and mobilising all stakeholders to conserve and sustainably use the oceans’.

The aim of the event is to support urgent and more far-reaching action to implement Sustainable Development Goal 14. Namely, to conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development.

The École Nationale Supérieure Maritime will be taking part in the UNOC programme from 5 to 12 June. It will be represented by a delegation of students, teachers and its general management through conferences, speeches and operations to promote the school under the aegis of the Ministry of the Sea.
