Your responsibilities

Reporting to the Captain, you will be responsible for the performance, safety and availability of the ship’s facilities:

Operating and maintaining the main and auxiliary engines and technical equipment.
Organising preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with regulatory and classification requirements.
Keeping the CMMS and technical records up to date.
Working with the Superintendent on technical monitoring and planning interventions.
Apply the Safety Management System (SMS) and ensure compliance with environmental standards.

Required profile

Chief Engineer’s Certificate 3000kW / 8000kW / Unlimited, up-to-date STCW certificates.
Good level of technical English.
Rigorous, autonomous and a team player.
Solid knowledge of mechanics, electricity and hydraulics.

Conditions of employment

Schedule: 2 months on / 2 months off (+/- 15 days)
Flag: RIF – 16th category
Availability: immediate
