Chief Engineer Yacht (M/F)
We are currently looking for a chief engineer for our yacht based in the south of France. The 34m vessel is powered by 3 MTU engines and sails along the French Riviera, Corsica, Sardinia, Italy and the Balearic Islands.
The chief engineer will work in collaboration with the captain to ensure the smooth running and maintenance of the various on-board equipment, including the main engines, the generator and the air conditioning. He or she will also be responsible for inventory, stock and ordering of necessary parts, as well as maintenance planning.
The contract offered is a 6-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent. Candidates must hold an 8000 kW or unlimited chief engineer’s certificate, have an up-to-date safety certificate (CFBS, CQALI, CAEERS), be fluent in French and English, and have an up-to-date medical certificate.
