Reporting to the Technical Director, you will be responsible for the technical monitoring of the vessels under your charge.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Providing functional supervision of the mechanical officers on the vessels managed.
Providing supervision of the technical department (5 people).
Organising technical shutdowns, maintenance operations and periodic inspections
Monitoring new constructions
Proposing and managing technical budgets
Managing technical documentation for vessels
Planning and monitoring BV inspections and class-related documents
Planning and organising the work of external companies
Receiving and analysing monthly reports from mechanical officers
Acting as the point of contact for classification societies and CSNs
Participating in development projects and continuous improvement
Monitoring the CMMS
Organising the set-up of the parts storage warehouse in conjunction with the CMMS

Personnel transfer vessels

Based in Dieppe in the Seine-Maritime department, ideally with travel within France/Europe (mainly the Netherlands/UK) for training and vessel monitoring, the position is available immediately, depending on availability.

Good command of English (spoken and written) is essential.
