JOB DESCRIPTION
As part of the construction of a new military vessel, NavOcéan Services is recruiting mechanical officers.

Under the responsibility of the Captain, you will participate in the testing and commissioning of technical installations on board. You will assist the shipyard teams and the future crew.

At dock:
• Participation in technical tests,
• Commissioning of installations,
• Monitoring of operating systems,
• Organization of safety drills,
• Supervision of watch teams.

At sea:
• Engine room or bridge watchkeeping.

Accommodation may be provided.

REQUIRED PROFILE
• Holder of at least an Engineer Officer (unlimited) or Chief Mate (unlimited) certificate,
• Good adaptability and autonomy,
• Experience in an intercultural environment,
• Good level of English (maritime and general),
• Living in or near Lorient would be an advantage.

PREREQUISITES
• Up-to-date maritime medical examination,
• Valid STCW certificates.
