Main activities of the position:
Are you a merchant navy officer looking to put your experience to good use without going back to sea? This position is for you!

We are looking for an operational profile, capable of liaising between shore-based and on-board teams, to work on a strategic maritime reporting software package: V2PS.

As a business expert, you will be a key link between users on board and developers on shore. Your role will consist of:

• Provide support to ships in using the V2PS software and assist with the rollout of new versions.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the software (analysis of shipboard and shore-side requirements, change management, testing phases).
• Provide functional support for requests for assistance related to V2PS/VRS data.
• Contribute to updating the associated technical and functional documentation.

Required profile:

• Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English is essential;
• Experience: 1 to 5 years’ experience, with maritime experience being a major asset.
• You have a natural understanding of the constraints and specificities of life at sea: managing time zones, length of days on board, particularities of ship reporting, etc.
• You are comfortable with IT tools and want to invest yourself in a sedentary role that is connected to the maritime world.

Our process (simple and effective):
1. Telephone call with an Innova Solutions recruiter
• Initial discussion to assess your profile.
2. Analysis of your profile:

• If your profile matches: presentation of your application to the client (with an anonymised CV).
• If your profile does not match: end of the process, you will be informed by the recruiter.
3. Waiting for the client’s response:
• If the response is positive: scheduling a video interview with the client’s manager.
• If the feedback is negative: end of the process; you will be informed by the recruiter.
4. Preparation for the client interview:
• Preparatory video interview with Anissa, manager at Innova Solutions.
5. Interview with the client:
• If the feedback is positive: possibility of a second interview or start of contract discussions.
• If the feedback is negative: end of the process; you will be informed by the recruiter.

Our client offers a comfortable and dynamic working environment, with a company canteen, a gym, the possibility of remote working, and a friendly atmosphere where there is no shortage of stimulating challenges!
