COMMANDER
MARSEILLE FRET is recruiting for the shipping companies Marfret and Ferryfret, renowned for their human-scale structures and their respective expertise in container and ro-ro transport.
Several on-board positions are available.
COMMANDER :
Vessel: 1700/2200/2296 TEU container ship, under RIF flag
Availability: Immediate
Embarkation period: Approximately 90 days
Social security system: ENIM, 19/20th category
Navigation area: International, long-distance navigation
Profile sought :
– French nationality,
– Captain’s certificate unlimited or equivalent diploma STCW A-II/2
recognised by the French administration,
– Fluency in English for on-board operations
Experience required :
– Proven experience on a container ship and/or ro-ro vessel
– Minimum 1 year’s experience as a Master, including 6 months at
on board a vessel of the same type,
– Previous experience of managing a multinational crew
is essential.
