ACASS, a recruitment agency, is looking for a Technical Expert Engineer to join its client on a permanent contract.

The position is based in Aix-les-Milles 13.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, your tasks will be as follows:
– Handling claims files relating to maritime, industrial and construction (finishing work) claims
– Study and documentary analysis of claims
– On-site investigations, in France or abroad
– Participation in survey meetings
– Technical analysis of files
– Drafting of technical reports

Profile sought

5 years’ higher education (engineering school or university degree)
Over 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Skills in technical appraisal, insurance files, claims management in the maritime, industrial or construction (finishing work) fields
Ideally, you will have experience in the Merchant Navy.
A working knowledge of technical English is desirable.

Salary between €45k and €55k gross per annum, depending on profile and experience.
