M/Y TOBI STAR – 54m – Seeking Chief Engineer
We are seeking a Chief Engineer to join the M/Y TOBI STAR as soon as possible. This is a 54-meter private yacht, Cook Islands-flagged and based in Ventimiglia, Italy.
The candidate will be responsible for the entire engine room and the vessel’s technical systems, including their upkeep, preventive and corrective maintenance, and the supervision of work carried out by external contractors.
Main engines:
2 x Caterpillar 3516B
Generators:
2 x Caterpillar + 1 x Northern Lights – 170 kW each
The yacht operates primarily in the Mediterranean.
We are looking for a serious, autonomous, and organized individual with solid technical experience, capable of ensuring the vessel’s overall smooth operation. Basic English and Spanish are required; Italian is a plus.
