Luc GILLET is an engineer who graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées (ENSTA, 1980) and holds an Executive MBA from HEC (1991). He began his career in 1982 in the offshore sector at ETPM and joined Bureau Veritas in 1983, where he held various senior management positions.

He joined TotalEnergies in 2003 as Deputy Director of Maritime Transport, and was subsequently appointed Director of Maritime Transport and Chairman of the shipping company CSSA in 2008, a position he held until his retirement at the end of 2022.

Since 2023, he has served as an independent director for several international companies in the maritime industry: BW LPG, a shipowner specialising in LPG carriers; OGTF, a shipowner specialising in LNG carriers; and the engineering firm GTT (Gaz Transport et Technigaz). He also gives lectures at various prestigious higher education institutions on the topic of the energy transition in maritime transport.

He was a member of the board of directors and chairman of the Society of International Gas Tanker and Terminal Operators (SIGTTO), an association bringing together the world’s leading players in the maritime transport of gas: gas companies, shipowners and terminal operators. He is also a member of the Executive Committee and Vice-Chair of the Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF), which brings together the maritime transport departments of more than 130 oil and gas companies; a member of the board of directors of the French Maritime Cluster (CMF); and a member of the advisory board of the Maersk Mc Kinney Moller Centre for Zero Carbon Shipping, a research and development centre dedicated to the decarbonisation of maritime transport.

First Class Chief Administrator in Maritime Affairs

Christophe Lenormand is a leading figure in the French maritime administration. With a career marked by key positions at the Ministry for Ecological Transition (formerly the Ministry for the Sea), the Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs, Fisheries and Aquaculture (DGAMPA), and the Coastal Conservation Agency, Mr Lenormand embodies a balanced approach to economic competitiveness, maritime safety and the preservation of ecosystems.

Career and commitments

• Interregional Director of the Mediterranean Sea (since March 2024): Steering maritime policies for the Mediterranean coastline, with a focus on combating social dumping and modernising fleets.
• Head of the Fleet and Seafarers Department: (Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs, Fisheries and Aquaculture – DGAMPA)
• Deputy Director of Maritime Affairs: (Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs, Fisheries and Aquaculture – DGAMPA, ex Maritime Affairs Directorate – DAM)

Ladislas Paszkiewicz is the former USA Country Chair and CEO WDC Representative Office at Total Energies SE.

He was previously Group Head of Investor Relations in London from 2019 unil 2021.

He was the senior vice president Strategy & Climate in Paris from 2016 until 2019 where he also held the position of secretary of the Excecutive Committee at Group level. Previously, Mr. Ladislas Paszkiewicz has served as the senior vice president Mergers & Acquisitions for Total S.A. since early 2015.

From 2010 to 2014 he was senior vice president Americas for the Exploration and Production division of Total. Prior to that, he also served as senior vice president Middle East for the same division from 2007 to 2010.

Mr. Paszkiewicz has also served as the managing director of the Total’s E&P subsidiary in Argentina, Total Austral, from 2005 to early 2007.

Previously, he was head of the Investor Relations department of Total S.A., and in various other positions in the Total group, which he joined in 1985.

Mr. Paszkiewicz holds a masters degree in business administration from New York University and a masters degree in finance from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris, France. Mr Paszkiewicz is freshly retired since Sptember 2025.

Anne Coroller graduated from HEC Paris in 2022, having specialised in innovation as part of the PIC (Project, Innovation, Design) Master’s programme, run jointly with École Polytechnique and Télécom Paris. Her early career experiences enabled her to explore various aspects of the green transition: energy consultancy, venture capital funding for innovation at Bpifrance, innovation consultancy supporting the green transition, followed by a V.I.E placement in Madagascar as a renewable energy project manager. She joined the DGAMPA in late 2024 and is responsible for steering the national roadmap for the decarbonisation of the maritime sector, monitoring and implementing national and European funding to support the decarbonisation of the maritime sector, and the national structuring of maritime innovation.

An agricultural engineer, Lorraine Wemaere is a project manager in the Sustainable Development department at Expertise France (AFD Group). After working on the Sanofi Foundation’s grants programme, she joined the NGO ENDA Santé in Senegal, where she led a regional programme across eight countries in West and Central Africa, focusing on community adaptation strategies to climate change. She is now continuing her work in international cooperation at Expertise France, where she is helping to roll out the WASOP (West Africa Sustainable Ocean Programme), funded by the European Union. Implemented across the thirteen coastal countries of West Africa, from Mauritania to Nigeria, this programme aims to promote a sustainable and inclusive blue economy, strengthen ocean governance, and support the protection and restoration of marine and coastal ecosystems.

Director of Business Development and Intermodal Solutions, Port of Marseille Fos

Amal Louis is an expert in the maritime sector with 22 years’ experience in the industry.

She holds an Executive MBA from ESSEC and the University of Mannheim, awarded in 2017, as well as a Master’s degree in Marketing and Management from the Institut Supérieur des Cadres de Vente (CNAM).

Her professional career began at the shipping company Marfret, where she held strategic management roles, focusing on the operation of vessels deployed on Short Sea routes in Europe and the Mediterranean, as well as on project development.

Amal has also been heavily involved in the sector’s representative bodies. She served as Chair of the Association of Shipping Agents and Consignees at the Port of Fos-Marseille for five years, followed by two years as National Vice-Chair of the AMCF (Association of French Shipping Agents and Consignees). She served on the Development Board of the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille (GPMM) and on the Supervisory Board of MGl (Marseille Gyptis International) for five years. Since March 2023, Amal Louis has been Director of Business Development and Intermodal Solutions at the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille-Fos.

Jacques Hardelay has built a solid career in the railway and shipbuilding industries. After heading up SAB WABCO for nearly ten years, he took charge of two Alstom Transport sites between 2002 and 2005, first in France and then in Italy. His career took a new direction when he became managing director of Chantiers de l’Atlantique, where he oversaw the construction of cruise ships until 2012. He then spent three years at Alstom Hydro as director of operations.

In 2015, he became head of the Marseille Shipyard, a position he held until 2021, transforming the company into a key player in the ship repair sector through the expansion of its infrastructure and an increase in its workload, particularly with cruise ships. He played a key role in the reopening of Forme 10, one of Europe’s largest dry docks.

In June 2024, he was appointed deputy chairman of the Marseille Provence Croisière association, bringing his expertise in support of the development of the cruise industry in the region.

Hayria is one of the first recruits to join the young (but no less experienced!) team; she joined in 2015 after completing a master’s degree in international Tourism Management and honing her passion for travel during a two-year stay in Australia and a one-year voluntary placement in Cameroon.

She ensures the smooth running and optimisation of cruise ship reception onshore, liaising with maritime and local tour operators and various stakeholders in the city, with a new focus on fostering dialogue between residents, shopkeepers and tourism operators.

Throughout the year, Hayria is also on the lookout for new tourism service providers, who are then introduced to the local tour operators at the annual cruise workshop organised by the Association. The aim of this workshop is to promote the region’s tourism offering and expand the range of excursions available to cruise passengers.
