The Bordeaux Maritime and Port Union and ENSM sign an agreement promoting the school’s integration into the local community. 🌊
The Bordeaux Maritime and Port Union, represented by Ahmed Abzizi, in his capacity as president, and ENSM, represented by François Lambert, Director General, signed a partnership agreement on June 29, 2026, in Bordeaux.
Beyond enhancing the mutual visibility of both entities, this agreement aims in particular to work toward establishing a new training program in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, drawing on and collaborating with a range of stakeholders in the maritime sector in a city where ENSM does not currently have a presence. ⚓
François Lambert: “Bordeaux, and more broadly the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, represent a significant pool of candidates for ENSM. Significant, but not sufficient. I sincerely thank the Bordeaux Maritime and Port Union, and in particular its President, Ahmed Abzizi, for the quality of the discussions held during the General Assembly and for the work we will carry out together to offer new training programs. The 2028–2032 Objectives and Performance Agreement is being developed today, in collaboration with industry stakeholders, in the best interests of ENSM and the national maritime economy.”
