CHIEF ENGINEER / CHIEF MECHANIC (3000kW)
A leading player in its field, STAPEM OFFSHORE provides technical support for marine and subsea operations, as well as maintenance for offshore installations in the oil and gas industry. STAPEM OFFSHORE operates primarily in the Gulf of Guinea, Angola and the Congo, where it has been present for 30 years, as well as in Senegal and the Middle East, notably in Qatar.
We are seeking a Chief Engineer Officer / Chief Mechanic (3000 kW) to work on a Damen Fast Crew Supplier 2610 vessel (engines: 2x Caterpillar C32 TTA B; total power: up to 1,790 bkW (2,400 bhp); generator: 1x Caterpillar C2.2 NA). The vessel operates primarily in support of diving and bathymetric operations.

Holder of a Chief Engineer or Chief Mechanic (3000 kW) certificate
Up-to-date STCW certificates required for the post.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
A good level of spoken and written English is essential.
Previous experience on Damen Fast Crew Supplier 2610 vessels or with Caterpillar C32 TTA B engines will be highly valued.
Experience as a ship’s engineer.
The rotation schedule is 5 weeks’ work followed by 5 weeks’ time off.
Start date as soon as possible with long-term prospects.
