Meet the three ENSM student teams participating in the Hydro Contest by ENSM challenges!
🔎HydroContest Design features:
– 4 races on the water

– Dynamic international collaboration
Teams compete with miniature boats of their own design, representing the dimensions of a modern small commercial vessel.
📍An ENSM team for the HydroContest Design: Hydrospeed Team 🌊
The Hydrospeed Team consists of Titouan, Thomas, Clara, Jules, Loane, Antoine, and Yann, students at the ENSM campuses in Le Havre, Nantes, and Marseille. They are accompanied by two of their ENSM professors: Frédéric Spelliers, an electronics instructor, and Jean-Michel Laborde, a technical instructor.
📍Two ENSM teams for the Retrofit Challenge: Team DMOniaque and Team Tribat 🌊
🔎The Retrofit Challenge is:
This challenge invites students to tackle a real-world industrial problem by proposing concrete, innovative, and sustainable solutions to retrofit an existing ship through a case study. An engineering challenge at the heart of the maritime transition.
The DMOniaque Team consists of Lubin, Julien, Luc, Anthony, and Alban, all of whom are marine engineering students.
The Tribat team consists of Dania, Titouan, Lucas, Théo, Asma, Esther, Quentin, Omar, and Antoine, all marine engineering students. They are accompanied by Marcos Pagoto, a professor of naval mechanics at the ENSM campus in Nantes.
