The ENSM invites you to attend the Refrigerant Training Course

This course is aimed at personnel responsible for the maintenance of refrigeration systems. In the maritime sector, it is particularly suited to: Chief Engineers, Second Officers, Lieutenants and Chief Engineers

OBJECTIVES 📚

▪️Carry out leak testing, maintenance and servicing of refrigeration systems,
▪️Commission refrigeration equipment,
▪️Handle refrigerants safely,
▪️Prepare for the test to obtain the CAT.1 certificate of competence in the handling of refrigerants,
▪️Take the theory and practical exams assessed by an independent examiner.

📍27 to 30 April 2026 – ENSM Marseille campus
📍16 to 19 June 2026 – ENSM Marseille campus

PREREQUISITES 🔎

▪️Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems and their maintenance
▪️No qualifications required

DURATION ⏳

▪️Training: 3 days – 10 hours of theory and 12.5 hours of practical training
▪️Exam: ½ day – 1 hour written and 2.5 hours practical
