Lieutenant
The Tara Ocean Foundation is looking for a Lieutenant to join the crew of its vessel, the Tara
Polar Station.
An initial deployment in early June for 2.5 to 3 months.
Mission preparation in Lorient followed by a voyage to Kirkenes in Norway.
Please indicate below if you are potentially interested in a
long-term voyage (4 to 5 months) drifting in the Arctic ice for April 2027. Any polar experience and ice navigation qualifications are an advantage.
Captain 500 with CGO
RIF flag – 10th category
Fixed-term contract: €2,900 gross + hardship allowance.
0.9 days’ leave for every day spent on board.
