Dominique Follut: New Director of Research

Dominique Follut holds a PhD from the Ecole Centrale de Nantes. His professional experience is centered on innovation and the development of new products for the company. His professional career combines operational innovation in collaboration with university partners and a strong involvement in innovation networks serving companies and territories.

While working in several SMEs that have innovated and designed new products and services related to the maritime world, Dominique Follut has been involved in governance as vice-president of Neopolia, a business cluster, on naval and MRE issues, and as vice-president of the Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique.

His arrival is part of the ENSM’s development approach to serving the maritime economy in order to continue to respond to and anticipate changes in professions and contexts. Dominique Follut will therefore be able to supervise research work and support the French Maritime Academy (ENSM) in its desire to multiply the links between teaching and research for the benefit of its students and partners.
