TERMINAL SAFETY OFFICER

Founded in 2002, 4SA is a pioneering company in marine safety, in charge of controlling the risks associated with shore/sea transfers of cargoes classified as dangerous (crude oil, refined products, liquefied petroleum gases, natural gas and chemical products).

Today, 4SA is looking for a Terminal Safety Officer for its agency in Martigues (France).

Job description:
Mission of the Terminal Safety Officer is to secure tanker’s operation on behalf of a client. He is the guarantor of a safe management of ship-shore interface during the whole vessel’s call, controlling the action of all those involved in the operation.
He can also be punctually assigned missions outside (superintendence, audit, technical expertise…).

Required profile:
Oil tanker sailing experience required.
Good level of technical and maritime English is essential (the practice of the French language is desirable).
A good knowledge of maritime regulations is a plus (MARPOL, SOLAS, ISGOTT…).

Condition of work:
Permanent contract.
Work based on the port of Fos-Lavera, and organized in three eight-hour shift.

Starting date: immediate

Salary: according to experience (plus benefits: 13th month, profit sharing, holiday bonus, company mutual, restaurant voucher, gift vouchers).
