After a title as academic champion at the beginning of February, the team from Marseille HydroMar Sailing, composed of Pablo Mathevet, Arthur Chapalain, Guillaume Gaschignard, Germain Pilipili Stéphany, Oscar Oo Ponjus and Alexia Barrier won a new victory in the Euromed’s Cup raced on 21st March in La Ciotat. Their victory is due to a group of young people to whom a title as academic champions 2015 was not enough. With some wind and swell, a strong motivation gave them the opportunity to win in front of 12 other teams, of which Centrale and Kedge. The HydroMar Sailing Team, who cannot get all of its members to take part in all the regattas, will participate in the Hydro’s Cup in Marseille on 9th April, in the one in Le Havre on 17th April, and will be on the starting line for the EDHEC race on 24thApril in La Rochelle. They will also take part in the Midships Challenge (1, 2, 3 May) a student regatta on classic sailing boats in La Rochelle.
