The IMDG Code strongly recommends this course to the shore personnel involved in the shipping, carriage and handling of harmful substances.

– Basic knowledge on maritime regulations and accidents
– Maritime regulations related to the carriage of harmful substances in a packaged form
– Hazards of harmful substances
– IMDG Code application by the shipper
– General aspects of containerised and ro-ro transport
– Procedures for taking delivery of harmful substances by the maritime shipper
– IMDG Code application by maritime shipper
Practical training:
– Drafting a transport declaration, use of existing loading cases
– Existing accidents cases
