INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS OF THE FRENCH MARITIME ACADEMY (ENSM)

Partnerships in progress :

ARSTM, Regional Academy of Marine Sciences and Techniques (Ivory Coast)

– International exchange agreement concluded on April 11, 2019 for a period of 5 years.
– The partnership covers the organization of courses or training courses for teachers and technical or administrative staff of both institutions, exchanges of programs, courses, course materials, educational documents and technical information, the organization of educational, scientific and technical meetings, as well as national or international seminars, the promotion of scientific research, support for the creation of new training courses, the provision of expert speakers in the training of one of the partners, finally, the participation in projects and programs of common interest

ISEM, Higher Institute of Maritime Studies (Morocco)

    – International convention concerning the exchange of teachers, students, administrative staff, joint participation in research projects, the realization of new pedagogical projects, the training of trainers, internships for the benefit of ISEM teachers, and the pooling of means and pedagogical tools.
– Agreement concluded on December 19, 2019 for a period of 5 years.
– A first ENSM/ISEM agreement had already been signed in May 2005

MBNA, Mircea cel Batran Naval Academy (Romania)

  – Partnership agreement concluded in 2018 aiming at the analysis and identification of potential development of academic partnerships, joint participation in scientific events (conferences, seminars, etc…), joint participation in academic programs developed jointly by ENSM and MBNA, facilitating the access of staff to the partner’s documentary resources, promoting scientific publications, etc..
– The agreement has been concluded for a period of 5 years, but is not dated (2018).

IMQ, Maritime Institute of Quebec (Canada)

   – Partnership for the provision of initial and continuing education, pedagogical and research
exchanges, in order to promote the mutual recognition of diplomas, the sharing of online courses, or internship exchanges.
– The partnership was concluded on October 17, 2019 for a period of 5 years.

CMES WestMed project
– Research partnership concluded on July 3, 2019 under Action K2 of the European Union’s Erasmus+ program, with the aim of establishing a sustainable network of maritime education and training institutes, public authorities, and private actors in the maritime transport sector in the Western Mediterranean.
– The project aims to adopt a shared methodology for the development of training courses based on common qualification standards in the Western Mediterranean.
 – Duration of the project: two years.

STC Group (Netherlands)

   – SkillSea project
  – Partnership concluded on August 16, 2018 the in the framework of the K2 Erasmus+ action.
  – Participation in a research project to identify the skills required and produce training for mobility and better employability of seafarers.
  – Duration of the project: 4 years (end of December 2022).

MBNA, Mircea cel Batran Naval Academy (Romania)

  – Blue for Seas project
  – Strategic partnership concluded on November 1, 2020 within the framework of the action K2 of the European Union program Erasmus+, aiming at supporting blue growth by improving maritime higher education in the fields of marine pollution and environmental protection.
– Duration: two years.
