Philippe Poulet is an engineer from the Arts et Industries de Strasbourg and an associate professor in industrial sciences, engineering and electrical engineering. Before joining The French Maritime Academy, he taught in college, BTS electrotechnical, CPGE as well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

In 2015, he obtained a doctoral thesis, conducted at the LIS (Laboratoire Informatique et Système) of Aix-Marseille University, entitled ” Control of a hybrid energy system based on a heat pump “, which contributes to the problem of energy control and management in the context of hybrid energy production systems.

In September 2017, Philippe Poulet joined The French Maritime Academy, who was assigned as a teacher at the Marseille site.
