MUTUALISATION DES OPÉRATIONS DE MAINTENANCE OFFSHORE

Location concerned : Le Havre
Length of project : October 2011 to June 2015

OBJECTIFS :

1. Develop a decision support tool for the ports, local and regional authorities, business and industrial clusters that want to invest in the offshore wind turbine sector (logistics and especially maintenance)

2. Anticipating nautical aspects for future service providers and the usual participants of this area (fishing, boating, trade …)

Particpants : University of Le Havre, French Maritime Academy (ENSM), Regional Center for innovation and technology transfer CRITT transport and logistics, Unversity of Plymouth, University of Portsmouth

General Organization of the Project:

1. Creating decision support system by developing a database indicating the land and sea services available to ensure the maintenance of offshore wind turbine installations, the necessary maintenance and training needs

2. Maritime safety: the census of marine activities involved in the implementation and maintenance of offshore wind turbine installations. Creating a simulated environment to prepare offshore operations. Development of recommendations for the benefit of nautical participants

3. Anticipation and view cycle : Proposed scenarios for dismantling and recycling. Analysis of associated costs

4. Communication of research and results
