Morgan Bourhis is appointed deputy Director general of the French Maritime Academy ENSM

Morgan Bourhis is appointed Deputy General Manager of the French Maritime Academy, the ENSM, as of October 1, 2022.
After an initial training as a merchant Navy Officer as C1 NM and a career in the French Navy, Morgan Bourhis joined the Maritime Affairs in 1999.

He then held many positions in maritime sectors, he has a very rich experience in rescue, monitoring of maritime traffic and marine pollution.

Within the maritime prefecture of the Manche – North Sea, he was responsible for the office in charge of the maritime public domain (DPM) and marine renewable energies (MRE).

A graduate of the War School, he then held the position of Chief of staff of the Inspector General of Maritime Affairs (IGAM).

He was, since 2019, the Director of the Regional Operational Center for Surveillance and Rescue of Jobourg (CROSS Joburg), within the Inter-regional Directorate of the Sea – East Channel – North Sea.

As Deputy, he will in particular support us in pursuing our work to establish our objectives and performance contract.

He will supervise the Research area in order to strengthen the involvement of the ENSM and to promote its influence ».
